Printed Edible Images

PLEASE READ THE FAQ's AT THE BOTTOM BEFORE SUBMITTING QUESTIONS OR BEFORE ORDERING.

Your photo, message, logo etc printed on an A4 edible icing sheet. This is great for birthday cakes, corporate cakes where complicated logo's are required. You can add any text personalisation to it, just ask me either before or after ordering.

Please note that this is not the cheaper (and very fragile) rice paper, but good quality edible icing (fondant) sheets.

You can have any size image (or more than one image) printed onto one A4 sheet. Just tell me the size you'd like it to be. You can then just cut them to size with scissors or a craft knife.

Ordering: Click the "Add to Cart" button, complete payment and then email me your image.

If you do not have the picture on your computer, you can post it to me, and I will scan it in for you.

If you want personalisation on it, I will add it, and email you a sample for you to check. Only then will I print it.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. What file types do you accept?
Word, PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, Works, Open Office, etc - or please just ask if you're not sure. (I cannot open Publisher files (*.pub))

2. Where do I email the file to?
info@candiiclouds.com

3. Can I put more than one image on the A4 sheet?
You can put as many pictures on as can fit onto an A4 sheet.

4. How quickly will I receive my item?
I send the items Royal Mail 1st class, and NORMALLY send it the next day. However, please check with me, as I may not be in the office and not see the listing end until a day or two later - hence why I say I will dispatch within 3 days.

5. Can I put anything on the icing sheet?
I can print just about any type of image as long as it's not offensive. If you're unsure, please check with me.

6. Do you offer combined postage?
Yes, the first item is 1.30 for normal 1st class delivery and every subsequent item is 60p

7. What personalisation do you offer?
I will only put a message on, and will not do any other 'graphic design' type amendments. E.g. change existing fonts or colours already on your image, remove backgrounds or any other photo manipulation such as sharpen image, colour correction, blurring edges etc. I will also not crop your image to a circle if so required. I will print it as I receive it, with the text personalisation, and you can then cut it into a circle when received. Apologies for sounding harsh about this, but I have sometimes spent 4 or 5 hours on ONE edible image, where customers ask me to do something, and then I have to keep amending etc. until they're happy with it. If you want 'graphic design' work done on your image, I'll be happy to quote you an extra, per-hour price.

8. What if I want to put only a very small picture on the A4 sheet?
Unfortunately, I cannot print on a sheet smaller than A4, so if you only want a very small picture, it will still be printed on A4 and the price will remain the same. You could always add one or two of the same image, in case it goes wrong, that way not feel that you're wasting all that 'white space'.

9. What is the use-by-date of the icing sheets?
The sheets normally have more than a year's use-by-date on by the time I send them to you.

10. What are the ingredients of the icing sheets?
Starch, Maltodextrin, Humectant Glycerol, Sugar, Stabilizers E460i/E414, Dextrose, Emulsifiers E435/E491/E471, Food Color E171, Flavours, Preservative E202, Sucralose, Citric acid

11. Does this have a backing paper that would need to be peeled before placing on the cake? o The icing sheets come on a plastic backing sheet, which needs to be removed before placing onto your cake. You will receive instructions on how to do this.

12. Can I cut the icing sheet?
Yes, it can be cut with scissors, a small craft knife or even very thin cutters, e.g. small circle cutters for cupcakes.

13. Will you look for an image for me?
No. Unfortunately this is way too time consuming with the amount of orders I get. If you don't have an image, please look on google images - https://www.google.co.uk/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi - or similar search engine, and when you've found the image, you can either email it, or just send me the url via eBay.

14. Can you send me a sample picture of how it will be?
If you've asked for personalisation, or a specific size (not standard A4), I will email you a PDF of what your image might look like.

15. Are these the rice paper sheets?
No, these are smooth, quality icing (fondant) sheets.

16. Do you do cupcake sheets or round sheets?
No, I only print onto A4 sheets, but I can print large circles or lots of smaller circles for cupcakes etc, which you can cut out yourself using scissors or a small round circle cutter. This is the way I do it for circular cakes and cupcakes, as ordering the round icing sheets are much more expensive, and I get very few orders for it.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Please do not automatically rely on an URGENT order being processed immediately (e.g. to be sent out next day) unless it's been agreed with me, as I also run a cake business, and don't always have the time to go to the post office more than once a day, or I might be out doing deliveries etc, and not see the email until it's too late.

2. Please tell me the size of the image you'd like when you email me the picture, e.g 6"x4" or full A4 etc.

3. Please note - It is your responsibility to get the image to me. Once you've bought and paid for the image, please email the picture asap. If you do not email the picture, or contact me regarding your order, it might get overlooked, and you would've paid for something you didn't get. Apologies, but I get way too many orders per day to look at every one and see whether they've sent their image or not. I can get as much as 40 requests a day - including having to do my day job, which is cake decorating.
